Bitoujiao (鼻頭角)

Bitoujiao from Long Dong

Bitoujiao (or Bitou Cape) is a quiet and quaint little fishing village, inhabited by about 800 people.

Bitou Cape, alongside Fugui Cape and Sandiago Cape, the northernmost and easternmost points of the island respectively, are the three main capes that provide a beautiful spectacle of the coastline in Northern Taiwan.

In Bitoujiao, residents are generally either 50 years and above or children. The village thrives on fishing and tourism for a living.

You will find yourself surrounded by nature, tranquility, clean air and a great access to good spring water, small catches of fresh seafood, seaweed and other local produce.

This is also where Chongchong, a black mixed-lab was rescued and adopted in May 2017.
